Individual FIT Bookings

Payments

Payment must be made 48 hours before your tour departs, either by cash, card or bank transfer. We are happy to consider alternatives on a case by case basis, please discuss with us when making your booking.

Payments can be made by Bank Transfer, Paypal and credit card. For payment by credit card Ilha Blue Lda reserves the right to charge a levy of 5%.

For payment by bank transfer please email Proof of Payment (POP) to confirm the date on which payment has been made. The payer is liable for all bank and related transaction charges.

Cancellations

Time, love and a whole lot of fresh ingredients go into preparing an Ilha Blue safari. We hope you don’t need to cancel but if you do, here’s what you should know:

Tours cancelled by you more than 24 hours before departure receive a full refund less a 10% administration fee. Tours cancelled during business hours on the previous day will receive a 60% refund. Unfortunately, tours cancelled on the day of departure cannot be refunded.

Ilha Blue operates in all weather. We won’t cancel if rain is forecast, but severe weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond our control may force a cancellation. In this case, we will do our best to reschedule or provide an alternative tour. If this is not possible, you will receive a full refund.

Group Bookings and Custom-made tours

Payments

A 40% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm booking. The deposit is to be paid 30 days prior to tour(s). Balance is to be paid 14 days prior to tour(s).

Payments can be made by Bank Transfer, Paypal and credit card. For payment by credit card Ilha Blue Lda reserves the right to charge a levy of 5%.

 Cancellations

Cancellations must be received in writing.

Any cancellation will incur loss of deposit (40% tour price). Cancellations received 5 days or less prior to departure will be subject to a forfeiture of the entire tour price (100%).

Ilha Blue operates in all weather. We won’t cancel if rain is forecast, but severe weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond our control may force a cancellation. In this case, we will do our best to reschedule or provide an alternative tour. If this is not possible, you will receive a full refund.

Sole/Preferred Agents

Each agreement will be made individually and terms and conditions will be negotiated accordingly.

Travel Insurance

There are inherent risks in adventure travel, which can lead to illness, injury, or even death. These risks are increased by the fact that we are in a remote location, with minimal medical facilities. The client assumes all such risks associated with participating in this tour(s). Ilha Blue Island Safaris strongly recommend all clients take out appropriate travel insurance prior to date of travel. Ilha Blue Island Safaris cannot be held responsible for any costs arising from such loss or injury.
