Ilha De Mozambique is often described as an island with two halves; Stone Town and Macuti Town. But it could just as well be described as an island with two sides; the sheltered bay side and the exposed Contra Costa. This drone film shows the contrast between the two, the water crashing over the sea wall on one side while gently lapping across the Slave Memorial quay on the other. Watch film here IMG_8119

Easter is always scheduled around the full moon which brings high tides, and right now they are as high as they get, almost 4.5m between high and low water levels.
