Ambasse became involved in tourism by enrolling in an Ilha Blue tourism training course while he was still at secondary school. He started training as a cook and  worked full time preparing all the food for our trips including lime achar (lime pickle), a mean piri piri, pickled octopus, coconut and cashew muesli, swahili spiced coffee, bbq fresh tuna, coconut rice… and the list goes on.

With Ilha Blue support Ambasse is now in his 2nd year at University Lurio. He is the perhaps the brightest and most lively person employed in the business and sings throughout the day.
